Mayfair Mansion, London.

London. W1K
2016

The luxury refurbishment and extension of a 15,000sqft Grade II Listed Georgian mansion in Mayfair, Westminster. The house was built circa 1730, and lies on the Grosvenor Estate, adjacent to the old Grosvenor House.

Since the 1930’s the mansion had been used as offices and more recently housed new residents, the artist group, ‘The DA! Collective’, who squatted for a year using it as living, studio and exhibition space.

MWAI have restored the house back to its former splendour as a single family residence with the addition of a beautiful glass rear extension for the kitchen. The residence, like many luxury residential projects in London, has a spa and pool within the basement below the house. MWAI worked closely with Martin Kemp Design on the bespoke detailed interiors.
