Government led Developer-orientated masterplan layouts for grouping of affordable and open market homes within the Comprehensive Development Areas on the remote island of St. Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean.

The Comprehensive Development Areas (CDA) are parcels of land released by the Government for high density housing vision on the remote island. The masterplan identifies the layout, mix, density and building proportions. It also includes an overall layout of access, roadways and drives; green spaces, landscaping, footpaths and other non-housing uses’.

The overall layout sits well in the context create a sense of place, optimise the site’s development potential and set new standards for sustainable settlement design on the island.
